Charroux

An atmospheric historic village with old façades, small lanes and local producers. A lovely choice for a slow lunch or market visit.

Vichy

Elegant, green and very different from the villages around Servant. Discover its thermal history, parks, architecture and terraces.

Clermont-Ferrand

For a more urban day: a historic centre, dark volcanic stone, Place de Jaude and Jardin Lecoq.

Further afield

Montluçon, Moulins, Montpeyroux, Saint-Saturnin, Murol and Saint-Floret are good choices for a longer day trip.
